The kit includes a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter sends a tone signal through the selected wire, while the receiver detects this signal and helps to locate the required cable or determine its route.
The device can be used to check cables up to a distance of 1.5 km.
The dual-tone signal helps to easily distinguish the searched cable from other nearby cables.
The receiver allows the detection of the signal transmitted through the cable without direct connection to the conductor.
It can be used to test active telecommunications lines up to 48V DC.

Functions:
Allows you to trace a specific cable route and identify the required wire among many other cables. The signal transmitter transmits a tone signal through the chosen cable, and the receiver detects this signal along the cable route or in a cable bundle.
The CONT mode is designed for checking the integrity of wires and circuits. Using this function, you can locate a broken wire, a short circuit, or an incorrect connection.
The TONE mode is used to send a tone signal into the cable and to trace it. The receiver detects this signal contactlessly, allowing you to locate the searched cable without physically disconnecting it.
The device can also be used for diagnosing analog telephone lines. It can determine whether the telephone line is free, busy, or ringing, as well as check the line's polarity and identify positive and negative conductors.
