All about the product
"Black Rose Wars" is a competitive fantasy game where players engage in deck-building, strategy, and combat set in the frenzied Nova Aetas universe of Italy. Each player is one of the powerful mages of the Black Rose Order, striving to become the new Grandmaster to gain the powerful artifact of the Black Rose and the power of Forgotten Magic. Mages must fight, fulfill the wishes of the Black Rose, and gain strength through their spells until their power reaches the confinement limit of the prison to which they are exiled, ultimately breaking free. Each mage can utilize six schools of magic, each with its own strategy for defeating opponents and increasing their power. At the start of the battle, mages begin with a grimoire of six cards; as they learn more spells during the game, their grimoire will grow. Each spell in "Black Rose Wars" has two different effects, increasing players' adaptability during combat. Mages battle each other in a modular hexagonal arena called "rooms." They summon powerful creatures, cast destructive spells, or weave dark deceptions using magic. The game system is divided into different phases. In each turn, having chosen new spells from the six schools of magic, players plan their strategy in advance by placing cards face down. Later, they reveal played cards to kill each other, complete missions, summon creatures, or destroy prison rooms, against one another and the Black Rose (the game system). Slain mages resurrect immediately, allowing them to re-enter the fight without delay, although their death still fuels the energy of those mages who caused it. At the end of the combat, the mage with the most power will be crowned the Grandmaster of the Order, crowned by the Black Rose itself.
