Revopoint POP 4 3D Scanner – Standard Version
The Revopoint POP 4 is an advanced 3D scanner designed for both portable and stationary use, featuring three data capture technologies: blue multi-line laser, full-field infrared structured light, and VCSEL projection. In laser mode, the device achieves an accuracy of up to 0.03 mm, RGB color scanning, real-time artificial intelligence segmentation, and supports Gaussian point cloud models. Supporting objects from 10 × 10 × 10 mm to 2 × 2 × 2 m, equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C connectivity, and compatible with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, the POP 4 is ideal for product design, reverse engineering, quality control, object digitization, and model preparation for 3D printing.

High Precision for Complex Needs
The POP 4 is designed for users who require high-precision geometric mapping. In multi-line laser mode, the device reaches a single measurement accuracy of up to 0.03 mm, allowing the capture of fine details of mechanical parts, technical models, or industrial components. The point cloud density of up to 0.05 mm enables the creation of detailed models ready for further processing in CAD software or 3D printing. Volumetric accuracy of 0.03 mm + 0.05 mm × L(m) is only available when working in laser modes, making it worth considering in cases where maximum dimensional precision is required.

Three Scanning Technologies Tailored for Different Projects
The scanner utilizes three independent data capture technologies, allowing the selection of the appropriate mode based on the type of object. The multi-line laser mode with 30 crosslines is designed for scanning technical components and surfaces that require high precision. Full-Field HD, using infrared structured light, conveniently scans faces, figures, and objects without markers. The VCSEL mode has been optimized for larger objects and outdoor work, allowing for fast data capture from greater distances.

Photorealistic Models Created Using Gaussian Splash Technology
One of the key distinguishing features of the POP 4 is its support for Gaussian splash technology. Unlike traditional models based solely on meshes, this solution allows for the creation of photorealistic 3D objects, characterized by very high image quality. The technology more accurately reproduces the interaction of light with material surfaces, resulting in better depiction of reflections, transparency, hair, fabrics, and complex textures. Finished models can be exported in SPLAT format and used in VR, AR, animation, product visualization, and digital media projects.

Real-Time Artificial Intelligence Segmentation
The POP 4 is equipped with real-time artificial intelligence segmentation capabilities that automatically analyzes the scanned scene during operation. AI algorithms recognize the object and immediately remove the background, working surfaces, and other unnecessary environmental elements. The system can also detect hands holding the scanned object and remove them from the model without additional user intervention. This provides significantly cleaner models already at the scanning stage, reducing the time required for further processing.

Fast Scanning and Smooth Object Tracking
Depending on the selected mode, the POP 4 can capture between 15 and 105 frames per second. The laser mode allows for capturing up to 2 million points per second, ensuring high accuracy and smooth operation. In full-field mode, the number of captured points increases to 5 million points per second, accelerating the digitization of larger objects. These parameters facilitate scanning both fine details and more complex structures.

Scanning Dark and Shiny Surfaces
The advanced laser projection system effectively captures many surfaces that traditionally pose challenges during 3D scanning. The POP 4 handles dark objects, mechanical parts, and many shiny materials well, without the need for matte spray. For transparent or highly reflective surfaces, the manufacturer still recommends using a special scanning spray to achieve the best results.

Indoor and Outdoor Use
The scanner can be used outdoors when the lighting intensity reaches up to 100,000 lux. The VCSEL mode is designed to effectively reduce the impact of ambient light on the scanning process, allowing the scanner to be used even in strong sunlight. However, please note that the specified resistance applies to no more than a 100,000 lux value and should not be interpreted as functioning under absolutely any lighting conditions. Additionally, by using an optional outdoor blue light filter, detailed laser scans can be performed even in very bright environments.

Flexible Working Range
The POP 4 allows you to adjust the working distance according to the task being performed. In the multi-line laser mode, scanning is possible from 200 to 400 mm, facilitating the capture of small details. Full-Field HD and Hybrid HD modes operate in the 250–500 mm range. The VCSEL technology offers the largest range, allowing scanning from 300 to 800 mm, making it easier to digitize larger objects and human figures.

Ready-to-print Models for 3D Printing, CAD, and Reverse Engineering
The device comes with Revo Scan 6 software that allows you to capture, edit, and export models to popular formats used in professional applications. Support for STL, OBJ, PLY, FBX, GLTF, 3MF, ASC, and SPLAT allows for easy integration of the scanned data with CAD software, design environments, and 3D printing preparation tools. Due to its high precision and versatility, the POP 4 is utilized in reverse engineering, product design, quality control, animation, digital content creation, and historical monument documentation.
