Universal multimeter with TRUE RMS function and automatic measurement range for every measurement. Counts up to 25,000 digits . Allows for both basic and advanced electrical measurements. • The accuracy of the YT-730895 multimeter in this range is : ±(0.3 % + 3), resolution 0.1 V
• formula for calculating measurement error: (measurement result x 0.3 %) + 3 x resolution
• calculation: (235 x 0.3 %) + 3 x 0.1 = 0.705 + 0.3 = 1.005 V

The true result, including the measurement error, when the reading is 235V = 235 ± 1.005V

• The actual result, including measurement error, when the DC voltage is displayed: 12V = 12 ± 0.009V

Features:

• TRUE RMS - a multimeter with this function shows the true root mean square value of AC voltage/current. Unlike average value meters, devices with true root mean square values provide correct readings not only for sinusoidal but also for non-sinusoidal waveforms, distorted, for example, by higher harmonics, square or triangular waveforms. This is a mandatory function wherever switched-mode power supplies, motor inverter drives, HVAC equipment, etc. are present in the circuit.
• NCV - non-contact AC voltage detection by induction method. The multimeter detects voltage in an insulated wire using the NCV sensor located on the front of the device.
• AUTO - automatic measurement range adjustment. When measuring unknown values with a manually range-adjusted multimeter, measurements need to be performed sequentially from the highest range to the range providing the most accurate result - otherwise, there is a risk of damaging the device. On the other hand, using a multimeter with the AUTO function, it's enough to make one measurement and the multimeter will automatically find the optimal range. By default, the multimeter starts in AUTO mode
• RANGE - manually adjustable measurement range. A useful function when checking multiple components of known values, such as a series of resistors. Manual range setting significantly shortens the time for such measurements.
• REL - using this function during measurement, the display is reset to zero and the value displayed on the screen is considered the reference level. During the next measurement, the difference between the measured value and the saved reference value will be shown.
• SEL - changing the measurement mode, e.g., from AC to DC voltage measurement.
• MAX/MIN - holds the maximum or minimum value of the current measurement on the screen.
• HOLD - holds the currently measured value on the screen
