Deluxe Materials Tricky Stick is a surface primer designed to improve the adhesion of cyanoacrylate adhesives to difficult-to-bond plastics and foam materials. It provides strong adhesion to materials that are typically hard to bond, including polypropylene, silicone, and EPP foam. Simply apply it before gluing to enhance bond strength and ensure more reliable joints.

Improves adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials
Tricky Stick is designed to make cyanoacrylate adhesives effective even on low surface energy and smooth materials. By pre-treating the surface, the adhesives improve adhesion to materials that would otherwise be difficult to bond using standard CA adhesives.
Suitable for foam, plastic, and technical materials
This product is suitable for various materials commonly used in model making, radio-controlled projects, hobbies, and technical projects. It is particularly effective for EPP and EPO foams, as well as plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Silicone, fluorinated rubber materials, and acetals can also be treated for better adhesion results.
Easy to use
Apply a thin layer of Tricky Stick to the surfaces to be bonded and allow it to dry. Then, cyanoacrylate adhesive can be applied to one surface before pressing the parts together until they cure. The product is used in conjunction with CA adhesives such as Deluxe Materials Rocket Rapid or Rocket Hot, acting as a primer to enhance adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials.
For model construction, repair, and 3D printing
Tricky Stick is suitable for both hobbyist use and technical repairs where standard adhesives struggle to bond. It is useful for repairing foam models, plastic components, RC parts, and certain 3D printed parts made from difficult-to-bond materials when strong and reliable adhesion is required.
