Deluxe Materials Tricky Stick is a surface primer designed to improve the adhesion of cyanoacrylate adhesives with difficult-to-bond plastics and foam materials. It provides strong adhesion to materials that are typically hard to glue, including polypropylene, silicone, and EPP foam. Simply apply before gluing to enhance adhesion strength and ensure more reliable joints.

Tricky Stick is designed so that cyanoacrylate adhesives remain effective even on low surface energy and smooth materials. By pretreating the surface, adhesives enhance adhesion to materials that would otherwise be difficult to bond using standard CA adhesives.

The product is suitable for various materials commonly used in model making, radio-controlled projects, hobbies, and technical projects. It works particularly well with EPP and EPO foam, as well as plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Silicone, fluorinated rubber materials, and acetal can also be treated for better adhesion results.

Apply a thin layer of “Tricky Stick” on the surfaces to be bonded and let it dry. Then, cyanoacrylate adhesives can be applied to one surface before pressing the parts together until they harden. The product is used in conjunction with CA adhesives like “Deluxe Materials Rocket Rapid” or “Rocket Hot,” functioning as a primer that enhances adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials.
