All about the product
The Grove series module is based on the reflective sensor RPR-220. It consists of an infrared light-emitting diode and a high-sensitivity phototransistor. Bright objects in front of the sensor will reflect more infrared light and generate more energy in the phototransistors than objects with dark surfaces. It operates with a voltage range of 3.3 V to 5 V. The detection range is from 4 to 15 mm. It has a digital output, making it compatible with many development boards, including Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
