Device series expansion module - ultrasonic distance sensor, manufactured by M5Stack. The module is compatible with the M5Stack Core, M5Atom and M5Stick development modules. It contains the RCWL-9620 chip, which allows you to accurately measure the distance and detect an obstacle from 20 mm to 4500 mm. The measurement itself is determined with an accuracy of approximately 2%. Grove wires are used to connect the expansion to the main modules. A special connecting cable 20 cm long is included.Main features:
- The RCWL-9620 I/O provides accurate distance measurement from 2 cm to 450 cm with an accuracy of approximately 2%. When measuring more than 350 cm, data transmission is slightly delayed.
- Thanks to the wide 60-degree viewing angle, the sensor can also detect objects that are not directly in front of it.
- To determine the distance to an obstacle, the sensor measures the time from sending the pulse signal to receiving it.
- It is used for obstacle avoidance robots, distance measurement projects, and object detection
