Fiskars QuikDrill ™ abandons the large screw thread found in more traditional models, instead offering two optimally curved boron steel blades that are securely attached around a sharp drill spike. This design makes it easier to penetrate into any type of soil and prevents clogging as the thread penetrates deeper and deeper. The drilled lands are in a neat pile so that they can be easily tidied up after the work is done.
