The SUNLUX XL-6500 is a consumer-grade, professional-grade laser barcode scanner that plugs into a computer's USB port. The XL-6500 reads 300x per second and is suitable for the more demanding consumer as well as commercial, industrial or logistics application environments. The XL-6500 supports reliable reading of barcodes up to 220mm (22cm) wide, so it is also ideal for reading barcodes on Finnish bank and invoices.
The SUNLUX XL-6500 is light, ergonomic and equipped with rubber edges, so it is durable. The XL-6500 has a built-in barcode interpretation mechanism, so barcodes are read quickly without delay. The device also has built-in beep and LED signal systems that indicate the success of reading barcodes. The SunLUX XL-6500 supports the Finnish character set, so it is suitable for reading barcodes on driving licenses / reel cards / passports. Easy to set up: Does not require a separate driver installation and works on all operating systems.

An update has been added to Windows 10, which means that Windows no longer correctly recognizes all HID devices. The SUNLUX XL-6500 is one of the devices. This can be fixed either by updating the FW or by following the instructions found here:
