Multi-functional Hopper

The new multi-functional hopper can be used both as a single-dose hopper and as an adapter for larger batch dosing hoppers. Our bean hopper line offers capacities of up to 2 kg.

Smooth Adjustment Dial

The sleek design allows for precise and easy adjustment of grind coarseness from espresso to filter. The "Orbit White" and "Black" feature a wide adjustment dial, while the "Orbit Space Gray" includes a dial and a locking ring to help mark different grind coarseness points.

Weight-Based Precision Grinding

The "Orbit" integration with the Moon Scale ensures precise dosing for each grind. It has single and batch modes with automatic start and stop functions. Optimize your coffee brewing for consistency and efficiency.

64 mm Burrs

This grinder features 64 mm "Mazzer 33M" grinder burrs. The "Mazzer 33M" burrs are perfect for preparing classic espresso and balanced filtered coffee.

The grinder can also be fitted with different burr sets. The SSP multi-purpose set is ideal for producing very clear coffee and modern espresso.

Personalize Your Orbit

Enhance your coffee grinding experience with the "Orbit" app. We designed the "Orbit" app to personalize your workflow. Adjust the grinding speed from 600 to 1500 RPM, customize button actions, and save unique grinding profiles by weight or time. The newly introduced "Reverse-and-Adjust" feature allows for easy switching from coarse to fine grinding. It is perfect for baristas who frequently alternate between brewed coffee and espresso.

Energy Saving

Acaia believes that our social responsibility is to consciously evaluate our impact on the environment. Designed using our own technologies, the "Orbit" grinder is built to minimize energy consumption while still ensuring high industrial performance and smarter grinding.

Burr Alignment

Our team meticulously tests each grinder once assembled. This ensures proper performance, alignment, and grinding quality. During testing, we evaluate the ground coffee using optical imaging software to check the expected level of uniformity. We also carefully measure the distance between the grinder's fixing point and the burr touch point. Acceptable distances are < 1.5 markings for "Mazzer 33M" grinders and < 1 marking for "SSP" multi-purpose grinders.

Orbit Tolerances

All "Orbit" parts are individually measured during the quality control process. This ensures they meet our precise standards and can best fit the grinding machines. For example, our grinds must meet or exceed the following requirements:

Burr mounting surfaces - 10 micron flatness

Motor drive shafts - 20 micron concentricity

Other critical parts – 20 micron tolerances

This product comes with a Type C/F plug for EU. Customers from the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, and Malta may require an adapter.
