All about the product

The Maxxis Rekon Race is a racing XC tire designed for maximum speed on modern cross-country trails, where every second counts. Low, densely packed center knobs ensure minimal rolling resistance and excellent acceleration, while more pronounced side blocks provide the necessary support when cornering. The tread pattern is based on the popular Rekon model but has been optimized for higher speed and efficiency on hard, dry surfaces. The Rekon Race offers the ideal combination of light weight, speed, and control for both racing and performance riding. The lineup includes Dual Compound and MaxxSpeed compounds, which were developed with a focus on minimal rolling resistance and high pedaling efficiency. Available in 60 TPI and 120 TPI constructions, as well as versions with EXO protection and Tubeless Ready construction.
