OBD2/EOBD V105 DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE FOR GASOLINE CARS

The V105 diagnostic interface is a practical tool designed to read engine fault information and monitor key vehicle parameters. The device supports nine standard OBD2/EOBD protocols and is of the plug-and-play type – no additional software installation or smartphone connection is needed.

Simply connect the tester to the car's OBD2 diagnostic port. The device is powered directly from the vehicle's electrical system, and the results are displayed on a clear 1.8-inch color screen.

NINE OBD2/EOBD DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTIONS

1. Reading fault codes

The device reads the fault codes stored in the engine control unit. This allows for quicker identification of the possible cause of the engine check light activation.

2. Clearing fault codes

After correcting or removing the cause of the problem, the tester allows for the clearing of fault codes stored in the engine control unit.

Clearing the fault code does not resolve the physical cause of the fault. The vehicle should be properly inspected and repaired before clearing the code.

3. Freeze frame

This function allows the retrieval of vehicle data recorded when a fault related to emissions occurs. This information can help analyze the conditions under which the fault was logged.

4. I/M readiness

The tester checks the readiness of emissions control systems in vehicles that meet OBD2 standards.

This function can also be useful after correcting faults, disconnecting the battery, or before checking the status of the emissions system.

5. Vehicle information

Depending on the data available from the car, the device can read:

  • vehicle identification number VIN,
  • calibration ID,
  • calibration verification number.

6. Live data stream

This function allows the display of the current engine operating parameters transmitted from the vehicle controller.

The availability of individual parameters depends on the car model and the information supported by its controller.

7. Real-time parameter graph

Selected parameters can be presented graphically. The device's manual specifies the possibility of displaying vehicle speed curves and load values, among other things.

8. O2 oxygen sensor testing

The tester can read data from front and rear oxygen sensors, provided the vehicle supports this function.

9. EVAP system testing

This function allows checking data related to the EVAP emissions control system.

The descriptions of the nine diagnostic functions are taken directly from the V105 model manual.

BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECK

The device has a separate voltage measurement function. When activated, the current voltage of the vehicle's electrical system is displayed on the screen.

This function can assist in performing a basic battery voltage check; however, it does not replace professional checks of its capacity, starting current, or overall condition.

CONNECTION METHOD

  • Locate the OBD2 diagnostic socket in your vehicle.
  • Connect the tester cable to it.
  • Start the engine as instructed in the manual.
  • The tester will turn on and start detecting the vehicle.
  • Select the OBD/EOBD function or other necessary option from the menu.
  • Read the results displayed on the screen.

The device is powered directly from the vehicle's diagnostic socket.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY INFORMATION

The V105 model is designed for gasoline cars that support the OBD2/EOBD standard.

The device is not compatible with:

  • diesel cars,
  • hybrid cars,
  • electric vehicles and other new energy vehicles,
  • vehicles that do not support the OBD2 protocol.

Before purchasing, ensure that your specific gasoline car supports the OBD2/EOBD standard. The mere presence of a similar diagnostic port does not guarantee full compatibility with the vehicle.
