The Note Pro features a completely new two-color design and AMOLED screen covered with Gorilla Glass. It boasts an upgraded battery, ensuring up to 50 hours of continuous recording . The device is also equipped with an advanced studio-grade audio recording system featuring four MEMS microphones and AI beamforming technology capable of capturing voices with exceptional clarity even from 5 meters away. The Note Pro can also hardware-record phone conversations using a contact microphone. Additionally, the recorder automatically recognizes whether a phone call is taking place or if someone is speaking in the room, and seamlessly switches recording modes. The device supports “Find My" feature from Apple, which makes locating this small device easier.

The recorded files can be accessed through the Plaud app, which is completely free . In the updated version 3.0, the app has a revamped interface and offers an AI-driven workspace. Studio Sound, 4 Microphones

Thanks to the sound direction identification of the microphone array, speakers are clearly distinguished in the recording. For recording phone calls, the Note Pro has a built-in vibration sensor that handles the recording hardware-wise.

Maximum Data Security

Plaud pays maximum attention to your data security. It utilizes hosting exclusively on Amazon AWS servers and regionally. In the EU, this is in Germany. Furthermore, access to data stored in the Plaud cloud is granted solely to the client and their explicit consent – Plaud employees. The AI models used do not learn from customer data. Moreover, the recorders are certified under audit standard SOC2 , healthcare standard for handling sensitive patient data HIPAA , and the EU General Data Protection Regulation GDPR . Not stopping there, Plaud also complies with ISO27001, ISO 27701, and EN18031 .

Plaud 3.0 App

Major updates regarding the app. It now works not only with audio, but you can also embed notes or images into the transcriptions from which Plaud AI will extract information. Pressing the recorder button also signals that the currently discussed information is important to you. The recorder will then assign greater importance to it. Screen and design

Note Pro brings several enhancements to the recorder itself. It has changed the design to aluminum, received a color AMOLED screen covered with Gorilla Glass for better visibility of features, now features automatic switching for phone calls and voice recording and has a more powerful battery lasting up to 50 hours of continuous recording and 75 days in standby mode. The Bluetooth version has upgraded to 5.4 for even faster and safer recording, and recordings can now also be transferred via cable.

Recording conversations

Note Pro allows hardware recording of phone calls due to a highly precise vibration sensor. If Note Pro is connected to a phone, it automatically recognizes whether you are calling or speaking in a room, and switches recording mode accordingly. The included case is compatible with phones equipped with Mag-Safe . For other devices, a magnetic adapter is included.

PLAUD Intelligence

The Plaud service for transcription, summarization, and other functions of the Plaud recorder. All features, including over 10,000 summarization templates , integrations, specialized dictionaries, or the web and desktop app, are free. If you are limited to 300 or fewer transcription minutes , you can continue with the Starter plan, which is free. If you need more minutes, a Pro plan offers 1200 transcription minutes , and the Unlimited plan offers unlimited minutes.
