MHW-3BOMBER - Bottomless Portafilter Astra for E61 58 mm

All about the product

• Diameter: 58 mm
• Material: stainless steel (head), ergonomic handle made of durable plastic/wood (depending on the Astra series finish)
• Package contents: Bottomless portafilter + 58 mm precision basket

Advantages:

• Extraction control (bottomless / NAKED): No spout, allowing direct observation of the espresso flow. This helps to diagnose errors in coffee puck preparation (channelling, uneven tamping, improper grinding).
• Increased space under the group head: Allows for taller cups or coffee scales to be placed directly under the portafilter.
• Better crema and taste: Coffee flows directly into the cup without touching the metal spout, helping to retain a thicker crema and maintain temperature.
• Hygiene guarantee: No enclosed spaces or spouts, preventing old coffee oils from accumulating; the handle is especially easy to clean.
