All about the product
Celestron Advanced VX 8" EdgeHD Telescope
Celestron Advanced VX 8" EdgeHD combines the EdgeHD optical system and Advanced VX equatorial mount, providing a versatile solution for visual observations and astrophotography. The system supports multiple imaging configurations: f/10, f/7 with a focal reducer, and extremely fast Fastar/Hyperstar f/2 mode.
Key Benefits
- EdgeHD Optical System with coma and field curvature correction
- Fastar/Hyperstar Compatibility for ultra-fast f/2 imaging
- Advanced VX Mount optimized for astrophotography
- Autoguider and PEC Support for long exposures
- Meridian Tracking without motor housing interference
- StarBright XLT Coatings for better light transmission
- Integrated Ventilation System with 60-micron filters
- Suitable for beginner and advanced astrophotographers
Product Description
203 mm aperture and 2032 mm focal length allow detailed observation of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects. EdgeHD optical system ensures a flat field of view and sharp stars across the entire sensor area.
The telescope supports multiple astrophotography configurations. The standard f/10 mode is designed for high-resolution photography, the focal reducer allows for f/7 mode, and the Fastar/Hyperstar system enables ultra-fast f/2 imaging.
Advanced VX mount is designed to work with compact and medium-sized telescopes. Enhanced motors provide greater torque and stable tracking even with slight load imbalances.
All-Star Polar Alignment , autoguider support, and programmable PEC system allow for precise long exposure photography.
The mount's design allows for meridian photography without motor housing interference.
Included are a 9x50 finder scope, adjustable stainless-steel tripod, and NexStar+ hand controller with multi-language support.
