The DDPAI IPS Hardwire kit is an accessory that allows dash cameras to connect directly to the car's fuse box, ensuring 24/7 monitoring while parked. Thanks to the intelligent vehicle status detection, when the engine is off, the camera automatically switches to the interval recording mode – 1 frame per second. The kit supports a 12–24 V DC input voltage and provides a 5 V output voltage at 1 A or 2 A current, depending on the dash camera's needs. Additionally, a five-level protection system safeguards connected equipment and the car's electrical system.

24/7 monitoring and intelligent battery protection

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire kit uses a combination of ACC and constant power, allowing the dash camera to automatically adjust its operation according to the vehicle's status. When the engine is turned off, the camera switches to interval mode and records one frame per second – this allows monitoring of the car's surroundings while parked, using minimal memory. The kit also allows setting a low voltage threshold to tailor the protection to the battery's needs. When the voltage drops below the selected value, the dash camera's power is automatically disconnected – this helps prevent excessive battery drain and trouble starting the car.

Five-level protection system

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire kit offers five levels of protection, enhancing safety during everyday use. Overload protection automatically disconnects the power supply when the set current limit is exceeded, while overcurrent protection adequately distributes current and thus prevents damage caused by excessive current. The built-in short-circuit protection disconnects the power supply in case of an output short circuit and restores it once the issue is resolved. The kit also protects against low battery voltage and incorrect wiring connections. In the case of incorrect connections, power is disconnected and automatically restored once the connection is corrected.

The DDPAI IPS Hardwire kit connects directly to the car's fuse box using ACC and constant power wires. Due to its compact design, the module can be easily installed discreetly within the vehicle. It is made from durable, flame-resistant ABS plastic, and the wires feature a 22 AWG pure copper conductor, ensuring high electrical conductivity.
