All about the product
Everything in one pirate treasure chest! This chest is your ticket to maritime dominion! Inside you'll find: Lying Pirates – the main bluffing and adventure dice game, Curse of the Dead – an expansion filled with curses and dangers, Cities of Greed – cities where greed and strategy meet head-on. A true chest of tricks and chaos – endless adventures await! Lying Pirates is a fast-paced, exciting dice game where the first to reach the finish wins. You are the captain of your ship, and your crew is your dice. The game proceeds in several rounds, each consisting of three phases: Betting phase: inspired by the classic 'Liar's Dice', this poker-style mechanic will test your bluffing and probability calculation skills. Sailing phase: all but the losing bettor move forward on the map and encounter events on spaces. Some events are worth exploring, while others are better avoided. Action phase: action cards can assist you on your journey. Use them strategically – for offense, defense, or crew improvement. The game ends when one or more players reach the start/finish space during the sailing phase. If needed, a final battle for pirate supremacy ensues. The game also includes various variants and additional rules that allow for the use of unique character abilities and change the course of play.
