The damaged facade, exposed wall fragments, and opening windows give the structure exceptional realism and faithfully convey the atmosphere of a city engulfed in conflict. The building's construction features completely new brick texture blocks made with a dual-color injection technique. This means that one block has two ABS colors - one for the bricks and a separate one for the joints.

Goliat (Sd.Kfz. 302/303)

The Goliat was a German remote-controlled explosive vehicle used during World War II. Its task was to deliver the explosive charge directly to the target. The cable-controlled vehicle could destroy barricades, fortifications, and other terrain obstacles. Despite its small size and difficulty in detection, it was vulnerable regarding the control cable and was comparatively slow.

Goliat in the Warsaw Uprising

During the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, the German army used Goliat vehicles to destroy barricades and fortifications built by the rebels. Due to its small size, it could navigate between the barricades and city ruins, reaching precisely marked targets. Rebels often successfully neutralized Goliat vehicles by cutting the control cables with scissors or destroying them with grenades and improvised explosive devices before they could reach their target.

Add to your COBI collection!

Add one of the most unusual German special vehicles of World War II to your Warsaw Uprising collection. Build the Goliat mine model, recreate scenes from the fighting Warsaw, and create your historical dioramas with COBI sets.
