PROPERTIES
White tea is the least processed type of tea. Young tea leaves are rich in polyphenols and catechins – antioxidants. They are responsible for destroying free radicals. Additionally, white tea supports detoxification and strengthens the immune system.
TASTE
White peony tea features a light yellow, delicate infusion color. It is known for its rich yet subtle flavor with a slightly earthy aftertaste. All of this creates a sweet floral finish.
We recommend brewing multiple times.
HOW TO PREPARE
Pour 2-3 g of the product with 180 ml of water at 70-85°C.
Let it steep for 2-4 minutes.
If your sweet tooth suggests adding honey or sweetener to the tea, do not hesitate for a moment.
ORIGIN
White peony originates from the mountainous Fujian region of China.
White peony (also known as Pai Mu Dan) is made from young buds and tea leaves. After harvesting, farmers dry them very slowly in cool rooms. Only after several dozen hours does the leaf drying process occur in the tea. This is why tea leaves are less processed than black or green tea.
