Chaosium Call of Cthulhu: Miskatonic Tales: Journey to Innsmouth

All about the product

Miskatonic Tales: Journey to Innsmouth is an engaging, narrative-driven tabletop game that immerses you in the world of Cthulhu mythology, confronting you with forbidden knowledge eagerly awaiting revelation. Unbeknownst to you, who your true enemy is, you must investigate the emerging chain of mysteries in a location brought to you by fate. Fortunately, there are other investigators nearby — together you can unravel this case. Miskatonic Tales: Journey to Innsmouth takes place in the same universe you know from the award-winning horror and mystery role-playing game Call of Cthulhu. Inside the box, you will find three standalone, sandbox-style adventure stories that can be played individually, but they interweave into one larger narrative. This cooperative game has no strict turn order — what matters here is solving the case together as a team. Each of your steps on the map is accompanied by a chapter from the book, revealing another piece of the narrative. Every time you play, you can create the story differently, and by attempting to resolve the scenario multiple times, you will gradually unveil the entire picture. Combining strategy, storytelling, and collaboration, the game provides an immersive experience where decisions matter, teamwork is crucial, and plot twists are unexpected and thrilling. Discover more about the Myths by engaging in intriguing adventures. What role will you play in this narrative? Explore the clues. Uncover the truth. Discover the story.
