"Royal Catering" Hop Basket "Spider" is a perfect way to add hops to the wort and distribute them throughout the hot brew. It is ideally suited for both small and home breweries. The wort basket, made of stainless steel, is corrosion-resistant, waterproof, and highly wear-resistant.
The Hop Spider basket ( 36 cm high, 10 cm bottom diameter ) allows optimal saturation of 60 liters of wort. The special hook allows easy suspension of the device in the brew kettle. Once assembled, simply add the hops. The micro mesh has 60 holes/cm² . This sieve allows the filtration of protein sediments and polyphenols in the form of so-called hot residues. It significantly reduces the migration of unwanted substances into the boiling wort, ensuring that the wort retains all its properties. The "Hop Spider" basket can also be used to drain hops after dry hopping or as a filter for other purposes.
