Baking dish 22 × 17 cm with non-stick coating for casseroles
Birkmann baking dish 22 × 17 cm 1 liter capacity and 4.5 cm height is suitable for preparing meals for one or several persons.
Made of carbon steel which conducts heat well while baking. The inner coating is covered with a durable non-stick layer. It is resistant to temperatures up to 230 °C and designed for use in conventional ovens.
The non-stick coating requires proper usage. For mixing, portioning, and removing dishes, use wooden, silicone, or high-temperature resistant plastic utensils. Do not use knives or other sharp objects that may scratch the surface. The manufacturer also recommends not placing an empty baking dish in a preheated oven.
Before the first use, the baking dish should be washed in warm water with a mild dish detergent, thoroughly dried, and lightly greased. Periodic application of a thin layer of vegetable oil on the inner surface helps preserve the properties of the coating for long-term use.
The baking dish should be hand washed only when cool, using warm water, mild detergent, and a soft sponge. The product is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning. Do not use abrasive substances or sharp cleaning tools. In the case of carbon steel, residual water can cause localized rust spots, so the dish should be thoroughly dried after washing.
