When durability meets performance – the GR45 Pro arises, designed for gravel road cyclists. It combines an ultra-lightweight construction with durability across all surfaces. A balanced profile, rim width, and hub optimized for gravel conditions ensure explosive power transfer on any terrain, turning rough roads into smooth rides.

Integrated design – lightweight and fast riding

Instead of a combination of separate components, EXAR carbon fiber wheelsets feature a high-quality, high-class integrated design that harmoniously merges aesthetics, weight, and performance.
The GR45 Pro utilizes HI-MOD carbon fiber in the rim. Maintaining stiffness in the rim, spokes, and hub areas, the construction and materials are optimized to make the wheel as light as possible. The lightweight design effectively reduces rotational weight and enhances sprinting performance.
The weight of the wheelset is indicated without the quick release axle and rim tape. Allowable weight tolerance is ±3%.

45 mm aero profile – balanced stiffness for all surfaces

Compared to smaller profile wheels, a 45 mm rim depth reduces frontal air resistance and provides significant aerodynamic advantage. At the same time, it maintains perfect rotational and lateral stiffness balance, ensuring stable power transfer even under high torque.
Where aerodynamics meet robust stiffness, GR45 Pro achieves maximum performance on all road surfaces.

32 mm wide rim – ultimate comfort

Specifically designed for gravel bikes: a 32 mm external and 25 mm internal width offers better aerodynamics in crosswinds and improves stability.
Using with 35c and wider tires, the wide rim provides a firmer tire support, reduces deformation, and enhances steering precision. It also allows lower tire pressures, increasing comfort on rough roads by absorbing vibrations more effectively. This scientifically optimized combination guarantees an ideal balance between stability, control, comfort, and aerodynamic efficiency.

Tubeless ready, no tape required

Compatible with both tubeless and clincher tires. As there are no spoke holes in the rim, additional rim tape is not needed.

Carefully engineered hub – an engineering solution for gravel surfaces

Front hub: A 24 spoke 1:1 lacing pattern with cross-lacing on both sides ensures greater strength and consistent power distribution. This construction effectively absorbs impacts on rough roads and provides smoother braking.
Optimized flange spacing: A wider front hub flange layout improves spoke angles and tension distribution, enhancing lateral stiffness and support.
Rear hub: A 24 spoke 2:1 lacing configuration ensures efficient power transfer on the rear side while maintaining required lateral stiffness.

An even more powerful design

A 36-tooth flat ratchet provides greater engagement strength, durability, and consistent operation with a smooth sound. The design allows for quick changes in the number of ratchet teeth, adding extra versatility.
The GR45 Pro set utilizes "Pillar Wing20" steel spokes, which offer better vibration absorption, impact resistance, and durability compared to carbon spokes.
This wheelset is UCI approved – meeting the highest performance and safety standards for professional racing, ensuring laboratory-tested reliability in real conditions.
