PGY Retrova 2X Telephoto Lens for iPhone 17 Pro

The PGY RetroVa 2X telephoto lens was designed for iPhone 17 Pro users who want to capture more distant shots without sacrificing the convenience of smartphone photography. The 2.35× optical teleconverter expands the camera’s capabilities when photographing birds, concerts, cityscapes, or sweeping panoramas. Image quality is ensured by a sophisticated optical system using high-quality glass, designed to maintain sharpness and clarity in photos taken at high zoom levels. The RetroVa design was also conceived as a solution that can be used even after upgrading to the next generation of smartphones.

A zoom that opens up new perspectives

The teleconverter offers 2.35x optical magnification, allowing you to photograph subjects located much farther away from you. When paired with the iPhone 17 Pro series cameras, it provides a 235 mm focal length, equivalent to a 9.7× optical zoom, and the range can extend up to the equivalent of 960 mm and 40×. These capabilities are ideal for, among other things, birdwatching and bird photography, capturing performances from a considerable distance, street photography, and framing shots of architecture and cityscapes.

Advanced Optical System

Inside the lens is a professional optical system consisting of 13 elements arranged in 3 groups and high-quality optical glass. The design is optimized for use with the iPhone’s F2.8 aperture, enabling sharp and clear telephoto images. The carefully engineered optics help preserve the details of the scene even when you zoom in significantly, allowing you to use your smartphone for a much wider range of photographic applications.

A system built for future generations

RetroVa was designed so that the accessories can continue to be used even after you upgrade your smartphone. After the release of the iPhone 18 Pro, all you need to do is replace the case with a version designed for the new model, while keeping the rest of your RetroVa accessories. Additionally, RetroVa users will receive an exclusive discount coupon for future RetroVa upgrades, making it easier to continue developing the kit alongside future generations of devices.
