All about the product

Recruit the stars of another fantastic animated show! As a top-tier talent agent, you know that the hottest new stars of the season are just waiting to be discovered. Assemble a brand new cast of promising Toons and see if your new actors will win this year’s Critic’s Choice Awards! FlipToons: Season 2 is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1–4 players. This standalone expansion introduces a whole new cast of animated critters dreaming of joining your production, including aquatic animals and sports stars. Additionally, a new Return mechanic adds even more surprises to the game! FlipToons: Season 2 can be played on its own or combined with the original FlipToons as an expansion, expanding the game to 8 players and adding even more variety.Start each game with a deck of promising Toon actors. In each round, shuffle your entire deck, then take turns revealing Toon cards from the top of the deck and placing them in your 3 × 2 grid to conduct auditions together. Each Toon card has different talent effects, often depending on where it lands in the grid. Many cards interact with each other and can earn your studio Fame, but not every combination creates the desired screen chemistry. Some Toons simply don’t get along! After each Flip, tally the current Fame points for the Toons in your grid and spend them to hire new stars. You can also spend some Fame to remove a card and send a failed actor off the stage. Reset Fame to zero, shuffle the deck, and reveal the cards again. If you are the first to collect 30 or more Fame in a single Flip, you will receive the Critic’s Choice award, granting you additional Fame points and triggering the end of the game. After the round market phase, it’s time for the Final Flip. The player with the most Fame during the Final Flip wins. Applause!
