SkyWatcher Super Plossl 6.3 mm 1.25" Eyepiece

All about the product

SkyWatcher Super Plossl 6.3 mm / 1.25`` high-quality affordable short focal length eyepiece for modern telescopes. It is a four-element Plossl design eyepiece with a 52-degree field of view. The edges of all optical elements are blackened to reduce reflections. Eyepieces of this design do not distort images at the edges, and stars appear as points across the entire field of view.

The SP series eyepieces minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations, field curvature distortions, and astigmatism. Large optical elements provide a greater sense of space and offer comfortable long eye relief. The foldable rubber eyecups fit well and reduce the entry of stray light into the eyepiece. The body features a rubber non-slip ring for easy and secure handling of the eyepiece.

This eyepiece is designed for telescopes with shorter focal lengths.

SP series eyepieces will reveal all the capabilities of Newtonian reflectors, refractors, or catadioptrics.
