“Super Lube” anti-corrosion and joint gel 82003 – electric connection protection

The “Super Lube” anti-corrosion and joint gel is a specially formulated high molecular weight joint gel, used as a dielectric compound and corrosion inhibitor. It creates a protective barrier on electrical contacts and helps protect plugs, connections, terminals, and connecting parts from corrosion, rust, and oxidation.

The 82003 version comes in an 85 g tube, making it convenient for maintenance, installation, and protection tasks of individual electrical connections.

Important: this product is designed as a dielectric barrier and corrosion inhibitor. The manufacturer indicates that it should not be used as a lubricant.

The gel forms a strong protective film that provides better protection than conventional lubricants. It remains flexible, does not harden, does not crack, and is resistant to changes caused by mechanical impact. The formula also has good film strength and does not release oil under normal storage conditions.

It is resistant to salt water and common detergents, making it suitable for electrical connections exposed to moisture, contamination, or challenging operating conditions.

The gel is designed for plugs and connectors, electrical terminals, electrical connecting components, ignition plugs, and coil connections. Its dielectric properties help isolate and protect connection points, while the oxidation barrier helps maintain electrical contact surfaces.

By reducing wear from cracking, the gel can help protect connections exposed to small repetitive movements or vibrations.

Clean and dry the surface to be treated. Apply a layer of “Super Lube” anti-corrosion and joint gel until the protected area is completely covered. Reapply as necessary.

The manufacturer rates excellent compatibility with many common plastics, including ABS, PA, PE, PET, PBT, POM, PP, PPO, PPS, PTFE, PUR, PVC, and TPE. Compatibility with polycarbonate and polystyrene is rated as good.

Compatibility of elastomers with acrylic rubber, CSM, FKM, neoprene, nitrile rubber, polyurethane, and FPM or FEPM is rated as excellent. Silicone rubber is rated as good.

Important material restriction: the manufacturer considers Buna S, butyl rubber, EPDM, natural rubber, and SBR incompatible. Check the material before use and if the material or operating conditions are unclear, perform suitability testing.
