Simple preparation and lightning-fast launch in twenty seconds

With the “POWERUP 2.0” model you don’t need special technical knowledge , and even younger school-age children can easily assemble a working motorized glider model. The package includes pre-printed templates , but you can also effortlessly use your own designs . Once the glider is ready, simply attach the carbon fiber shaft with the motor to it and use the included charging box to revive the built-in supercapacitor. The entire charging process takes exactly 20 seconds , after which you can simply launch the glider with the turning propeller into the air and enjoy the view of smooth free flight. WARNING: Never charge for longer than 20 seconds. Most flights will only require 10 seconds of charging.

Durable and versatile design

Since collisions are an inherent part of aircraft model testing, very light and extremely strong carbon fibers are used for the motor base and propeller shaft. The end of the motor is also safely protected by flexible rubber, allowing the aircraft to reliably withstand even unexpectedly sudden landings .

This durable and versatile design invites experimentation with different glider shapes . The PowerUp 2.0 can handle models weighing up to 12 grams, but you can confidently test the limits with more refined glider designs.

In the package, you will find one PowerUp 2.0 power unit, two paper templates , an extra propeller , a portable quick charging box and a detailed user manual . This is an ideal gift for curious flyers.

Don’t forget to insert 3 AA batteries into the charging box (not included) before flight. To experience a truly perfect flying experience, you can always purchase an additional PowerUp paper templates set for airplane bodies (2.0/4.0) . It includes high-quality paper with attractive various aircraft designs, including a special waterproof paper for smooth landings on wet grass.

Practical tips for achieving the best flying experience

• Where to fly: Since the device naturally flies in circles and gradually circles your space, choose open areas for carefree fun. The ideal choice is a grassy park or meadow of at least 50 meters in diameter, where the soft grass will reliably soften any landings.
• Ideal weather: the small motor will show its true properties only in complete calm or with a very light breeze, as stronger gusts of wind can easily blow the freely flying glider out of reach.
• Age and safety: While children aged 8 and older can generally manage assembly and maintenance, we recommend that they be supervised by adults while playing. An adult’s presence is particularly important due to the rapidly spinning propeller at the rear and to ensure overall safety while moving outdoors.
• Pre-flight tuning: The thoroughness of paper folding greatly affects aerodynamics and overall flight properties. If your plane drops to the ground immediately after takeoff, it is usually saved by gently bending the rear edges of the paper wings upwards to increase the necessary lift.
• Moisture protection: landing a regular office paper glider on wet grass or puddles means almost certain destruction of the fuselage and unnecessary risk of damaging sensitive motor electronics. If you don't have an extra template set, it is better to choose exclusively dry days for launching.
