Size and purpose: Swaddle UP™ STAGE 1 TOG 1.0 is designed for babies who do not yet roll over onto their stomachs. The model is available in sizes Newborn (NB), Small (S), and Medium (M). For the best fit, it is recommended to choose the size according to the baby’s weight, not age.

NOTE:

Stop using this model (STAGE 1) when the baby starts to roll over onto their stomach. In this case, it is recommended to transition to the Transition Swaddle (Stage 2).

Care instructions:

wash before first use,
close the zipper before washing,
wash in warm water, gentle cycle, in a laundry bag with similar colors,
reshape before drying,
tumble dry on low heat,
thicker clothing should be dried inside out on a second cycle,
iron if necessary (avoid the zipper),
wash immediately after each use,
do not soak, do not bleach, do not dry clean, do not iron the zipper,
dark prints may fade – this does not affect the comfort or quality of the product.

What is the TOG rating?
Determining the appropriate TOG rating and dressing the baby according to the temperature can be confusing. Each baby perceives heat and cold differently, the ambient temperature fluctuates, and layering affects thermal efficiency. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, but understanding these factors can help.

At Love to Dream, we use an industry-recognized measurement system called TOG. TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) helps simplify the process of choosing the right clothing for the baby. In simpler terms: the lower the TOG rating, the lighter the material. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the material.

Products with a 0.2 TOG rating – ideal for temperatures 24–27°C.
Products with a 1.0 TOG rating – ideal for temperatures 20–24°C.
Products with a 1.5 TOG rating – ideal for temperatures 18–22°C.
Products with a 2.5 TOG rating – ideal for temperatures 16–20°C.
Products with a 3.5 TOG rating – ideal for temperatures below 16°C.
The above dressing guide provides guidelines on how to dress a baby or child according to room temperature. This is only a guideline. All children are different. The number of layers may vary depending on the baby's health, physiology, and room temperature. The caregiver must determine what is appropriate. We recommend that caregivers always monitor the room temperature and the baby's comfort. It is important to regularly check if the baby is comfortable and not overheating.
