With the external USB network adapter AXAGON ADE-CM20 you can easily connect a device (laptop, computer, tablet or phone) to the internet or local LAN network. Simply plug it into the USB-C port of the device and connect the built-in CAT6 network cable with an RJ-45 connector directly to the network . This provides a stable wired connection of up to 1 Gbit/s speed without the need for driver installation. Compared to Wi-Fi, a wired connection ensures lower latency , more stable data transmission , and a more reliable internet connection.
The adapter also supports advanced network features such as Wake-on-LAN, VLAN, Jumbo Frames, or precise time synchronization PTP/gPTP. It is ideal for working from home, video conferencing, quick backups to NAS, or gaming (e.g., Nintendo Switch with wired connection). It is also suitable for situations where a laptop or another device does not have a LAN port or the port is damaged.
Direct network connection with 2 m CAT6 cable
