Lodge Holiday Gnome Cast Iron Skillet 26 cm features a design at the bottom depicting a mountain landscape and a festive gnome. Outside the holiday season, it remains a valuable tool for everyday frying, stewing, and baking.
The skillet is made from solid cast iron. The surface is factory pre-treated with 100% natural vegetable oil , making the cookware ready for use after the first wash. Regular cooking and proper care help gradually develop the natural properties of the treated cast iron surface.
Approximately 26 cm in diameter, it is one of the most versatile. The skillet can be used on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction stoves, as well as in the oven, on the grill, and directly over the fire.
The long handle makes it easier to control the skillet, while an additional handle on the opposite side helps lift and carry the heavy, hot cookware safely with both hands.
After cooking, the skillet should be left to cool down, then washed by hand in warm water with a small amount of detergent. The cleaned cookware should be dried immediately and thoroughly, and then coated with a very thin layer of vegetable oil. Cast iron should not be left wet or stored without thorough drying.
