The blog is set among the ruins of the Shattered Jade Monastery. The demonic warlord Gelgus Pust seeks to poison the miraculous source of life-giving water – the Eternal Spring, hidden beneath the ruined fortress. This spring, magically enhanced and possessing restorative properties, grants life to the surrounding lands. However, Pust aims to defile it with the foul gifts of his master – Nurgle, the Lord of Disease. Only an unworthy band of heroes and mercenaries stands between the Prince of Pus and his ultimate victory. To reach him, they must traverse a landscape twisted and nurtured by Nurgle's sickly whims. In Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, you and up to three friends embody different heroes, seeking to cleanse the corrupted Shattered Jade Monastery. Only by collaborating and balancing your strengths and skills can you hope to survive. During each quest, you will unveil the demonic Prince of Pus's treacherous plans. The missions will take you to perilous locations filled with threats. However, along the way, you'll gain experience and loot that will enhance your capabilities until you can eventually face the mightiest of beasts – including Gelgus Pust himself. This cooperative tabletop game is fast-paced, enjoyable, and easy to learn, yet offers enough intriguing choices and increasing complexity to challenge even seasoned players. The flat-lying map book format allows you to set up in just five minutes and dive straight into the action. Each hero has unique skills, and randomly drawn quest cards ensure that no two games are alike.
