All about the product
Due to its resistance to UV rays, high temperatures, and moisture, ASA plastic is an excellent choice for all 3D prints that will be exposed to weather conditions. High mechanical and thermal resistance (up to 94 °C) and easy printing make this material a great alternative to ABS, ensuring its popularity in the automotive industry and everyday item production.
Unlike ABS, ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) does not require a heated chamber for 3D printing. Reduced shrinkage and good adhesion protect the model from warping and cracking, ensuring high dimensional stability of the print.
Finished ASA prints can be smoothed with acetone. The material can be sanded and painted. It can also be glued with acetone.
APPLICATION FOR 3D PRINTING:
- TRANSPORT: car and motorcycle parts, accessories, replacements;
- SPORTS: protection, sports equipment, spare parts;
- HOME AND GARDEN: decorations, equipment, tools, everyday items;
- ELECTRONICS: housings for sensors and microcontrollers.
- high UV resistance
- high durability
- vibrant colors
- temperature resistance up to 94 °C
- post-processing options for the finished model
- low odor emissions compared to ABS
