GL.iNet Comet X KVM Switch

GL.iNet Comet X (GL-RM4PE) allows remote management of up to 4 servers using a single device, providing video transmission up to 4K resolution at 30 FPS and access via a web browser or app. PoE power delivery helps reduce the number of cables in the rack, while the built-in touchscreen makes it easy to check connection status and control the device. Comet X also offers local management using a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, a 64 GB eMMC storage for ISO images, and the ability to remotely and independently manage the power of connected systems. It is ideal for server rooms, MSP client sites, home labs, and anywhere convenient multi-computer or server management is required.

Four Servers Managed by One Device

Comet X allows you to manage up to 4 servers from one location, eliminating the need for a separate KVM switch for each. Remote access to connected systems is available from anywhere via a web browser or app, with video transmitted at up to 4K resolution at 30 FPS. The HDMI pass-through feature allows you to use a local monitor simultaneously, facilitating diagnostics, configuration, and routine system maintenance.

Touchscreen and Convenient Local Management

The built-in touchscreen allows you to quickly check the device's IP address, connection status, login or logout status, and active sessions. It also enables viewing of each connected device's screen and accessing key system settings. If needed, you can connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to Comet X, and the button on the front panel allows for quick switching between supported servers.

PoE and Rack Mounting

Comet X can be powered directly through an Ethernet cable using PoE technology, which helps reduce cabling and maintain a tidy installation. In the event of a PoE power interruption, the device automatically switches to a backup 5 V USB-C power source. The design is compatible with 10" and 19" rack mounting installations, and the required mounting brackets are included.

64 GB Storage

The built-in 64 GB eMMC storage can be used for storing ISO images. This allows you to keep necessary files directly on the device and use them for installing operating systems or performing system recoveries. Therefore, there is no need to reach for additional storage every time you need the files.
