Kobalt Drill Bit for Metal 7.0 mm HSS-Co PZ, Short ALPEN [906007001]:

• HSS-Cobalt PZ drill bit is designed for drilling metal with a tensile strength greater than 1100 N/mm². It is especially recommended for drilling alloy steels, bearing steels, and hot/cold rolled steels. They are also excellent for drilling stainless steel,
• the drill features a ground, three-flat shank, which prevents the drill from "slipping" in the chuck,
• due to a special grinding process, they drill quickly and do not require high pressure during operation,
• designed for drilling deeper holes (up to 3 x d, d = drill diameter) due to the special form of the drilling flute,
• the “Alpen HSS-Co PZ drill bits are made according to DIN1897PZ standard from high-quality steel with a 5% cobalt content.
• The tip is ground at a 130° angle, due to the special tip grinding ( point geometry ) there is no need for a center punch - you can comfortably start drilling at any location.
