SunSun HW-702A External Aquarium Filter

Keep the water in your aquarium clean and clear with the SunSun HW-702A external filter. With a flow rate of up to 1000 l/h, this model is designed for aquariums up to 200 liters in capacity and is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. Its compact design, measuring 232 × 232 × 395 mm, allows for convenient placement of the filter under or beside the aquarium, while the 360° rotatable hose connectors make installation easy in almost any configuration. Additionally, the device operates quietly, and the rubber feet on the bottom effectively dampen vibrations.

Three-Stage Filtration for a Healthy Water Environment

The filter features three filtration stages that help maintain high water quality. Mechanical filtration captures sediments and suspended particles while creating suitable conditions for beneficial bacteria growth. Biological filtration utilizes bio balls and ceramic rings, providing a large surface area for the bacteria responsible for natural biological balance to colonize. An optional chemical filtration stage allows for the use of materials such as activated carbon, which helps remove certain substances from the water.

Convenient Use and Easy Maintenance

The large reservoir holds several filter baskets with convenient handles that can be filled individually with chosen filtering materials. The primary filter effectively traps larger contaminants, protecting the subsequent filtration layers and extending their lifespan. It is quick and easy to clean, facilitating regular maintenance of the entire system.

SunSun HW-702A features a multifunctional valve with a quick-connect coupling that allows hoses to be disconnected without leakage. This solution simplifies usage and reduces the risk of water leakage during maintenance. The valve also enables flow rate adjustments, allowing filter performance to be tailored to the specific needs of the aquarium.

Reliable Operation Every Day

The device uses a 24 W pump with a ceramic rotor that ensures stable operation and efficient water circulation. The maximum lift height is 1.4 m, and the included 1.8 m hoses facilitate installation. The filter has an IPX4 rating and is designed to operate in temperatures from 4°C to 35°C, making it suitable for a variety of aquarium systems.
