Deluxe Materials Tricky Stick is a surface primer designed to enhance the adhesion of cyanoacrylate adhesives to difficult-to-bond plastic and foam materials. It provides strong bonding to materials that are typically hard to glue, including polypropylene, silicone, and EPP foam. Simply apply before gluing to improve bond strength and ensure more reliable connections.

Improves adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials
Tricky Stick is designed to make cyanoacrylate adhesives effective even on low surface energy and smooth materials. By pre-treating the surface, the adhesive improves bonding to materials that would otherwise be hard to glue using standard CA adhesives.
Suitable for foam, plastic, and technical materials
The product is suitable for a variety of materials commonly used in model making, radio-controlled projects, hobbies, and technical projects. It is especially ideal for EPP and EPO foams, as well as plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Silicone, fluorinated rubber materials, and acetals can also be treated for better bonding results.
Easy to use
Apply a thin layer of "Tricky Stick" to the surfaces to be bonded and allow it to dry. Then, cyanoacrylate adhesive can be applied to one surface before pressing the parts together until they cure. The product is used in conjunction with CA adhesives such as "Deluxe Materials Rocket Rapid" or "Rocket Hot" and acts as a primer that enhances adhesion to difficult-to-bond materials.
For model building, repairs, and 3D printing
Tricky Stick is suitable for both hobby use and technical repairs when standard adhesives struggle to bond. It is useful for repairing foam models, plastic components, RC parts, and certain 3D printed parts made from hard-to-bond materials where strong and reliable adhesion is needed.
