The ANCEL L8000 is a professional automotive leak detector with low-pressure EVAP mode and high-pressure Turbo mode. The built-in pump generates up to 20 psi pressure, and the smoke flow of 6–8 l/min ensures effective diagnostics of various vehicle systems.
High Pressure "Turbo" and Low Pressure "EVAP" Modes
The device supports high pressure "Turbo" and low pressure "EVAP" modes. EVAP operates at 0.44–0.5 psi (30–35 mbar) pressure, while the built-in high-pressure pump reaches a maximum of 20 psi (138 kPa). The system allows for selecting a professional mode with pre-set configurations for standard systems or a custom mode where pressure can be set manually.
Smoke Test and Pressure Drop Test
The L8000 model allows for conducting a smoke test, which is used to detect leaks by filling the system under test with pressurized smoke. The device also supports pressure drop testing.
