Model Color is intended for painting plastic, resin, metal, and 3D printed models where fine details are crucial. The updated formula was developed in collaboration with experienced figurine painters and model creators to ensure accurate color reproduction, better brush control, and consistently excellent results.

The next generation of Model Color paints has been created for an even better painting experience. A high pigment concentration ensures excellent coverage, while the improved consistency allows for easy application and control with a brush. The paints dry quickly to a smooth matte finish, preserving even the smallest details of the model. For optimal adhesion, color accuracy, and durability, we recommend applying Model Color paints on a primed surface. Vallejo Surface Primer provides an excellent base for achieving the best possible results.

Model Color paints are organized according to the Vallejo BSL (base, shade, light) system, making it easy to select colors for base coats, shading, and highlighting. The range also includes many colors that match established military color standards such as RAL, RLM, and FS, making it a great choice for historically accurate models.

Each paint comes in a fully transparent 18ml bottle made from recycled and recyclable r-PET plastic. The transparent bottle allows for easy identification of color and monitoring of remaining paint.
