"Proxima PSA" photoelements (collision protection)

Purpose

PSA is an analog photoelectric sensor designed to operate in gate systems as a safety device. It features a safety function that, in the event of a processor failure in the receiver, returns the receiver output to a fault state.

Main features:

• Rotating heads – the heads can be rotated 190°, allowing the sensor to be used inside and outside of the gate opening.
• Four transmission power levels – due to adjustable transmission power, potential issues arising from the specific characteristics of the gate and environment can be avoided.
• Collision protection – up to four sensors can be installed in the gate opening. With collision protection (specific transmitter linking to the receiver on a certain channel), the sensor receiver will operate continuously even when receiving signals from transmitters operating on different channels.
• Range limit and coaxial information – using a light-emitting diode, range limits can be determined, and the coaxial alignment of the transmitter and receiver can be established.
