DDPAI Z90 Master Dash Cam

The DDPAI Z90 Master is a car dash cam featuring front and rear cameras, Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, and a 3-inch screen with a resolution of 640 × 360. The front camera utilizes an 8-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 1/1.8" sensor and records at a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 30 frames per second, while the rear camera is equipped with a 5-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 1/2.8" sensor. The model also offers a 2880 × 1620 recording mode at 60 frames per second for the front camera, 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, voice control, app management, and a GNSS module. The design is complemented by a supercapacitor, 3-axis G sensor, microphone, speaker, and USB-C port.

Sony STARVIS 2 Sensor and 4K Recording

The main camera uses an 8-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, allowing for natural recording at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 30 or 25 frames per second. A 2880 × 1620 mode at 60 frames per second is also available, ensuring smoother video, which can be helpful for recording dynamic events on the road. The rear camera features a 5-megapixel Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor; thus, the specifications indicate a resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 25 frames per second, which is not the natural resolution of the sensor and requires video upscaling.

Wide Field of View for Front and Rear Cameras

The front camera offers a 135° field of view, allowing it to capture a broad area in front of the vehicle. The rear camera provides a 126° viewing angle, making it easier to record situations occurring behind the car. Bright lenses with an F1.75 aperture at the front and an F1.7 aperture at the rear are also used, allowing the sensors to capture more available light, which is particularly important for recording at night.

App Control, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and GNSS

The DDPAI Z90 Master features a 3-inch screen with a resolution of 640 × 360, making it easy to operate directly in the car. The 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity allow usage of the mobile app, while voice control provides an additional means to operate the dash cam's features. The integrated GNSS module is compatible with GPS, BDS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS systems, enabling the device to utilize location data on the road.

Supercapacitor and Vehicle-Optimized Design

The DDPAI Z90 Master uses a supercapacitor instead of a traditional battery – a solution well-suited for the conditions inside a vehicle. The dash cam can operate from -20°C to 70°C, while the storage temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C. It also has a 3-axis G sensor, microphone, and speaker, powered through a modern USB-C connection.
