All about the product
The "Chicco PhysioForma Soft Luxe" pacifier is silicone-made. Exceptionally soft and gentle on the skin, the "Physioforma® Soft Luxe" is the first pacifier with an innovative textured shield surface and different opaque colors depending on size. The shield is ergonomically shaped, providing ample space for the baby's nose and chin. It also features large ventilation holes to prevent irritation on the baby's face. The soft and gentle "Physioforma® Soft Luxe" pacifier is designed to accompany the baby during sleep without disturbing them and leaving marks on the skin. Made of 100% silicone: a hygienic and non-deforming material, odorless, chosen for its practicality. The exclusive SOFT SENSE finish gives it a softness and velvety gentleness. PHYSIOFORMA IS THE UNIQUE SHAPE OF ALL CHICCO PACIFIERS. The "PhysioForma" is the unique anatomical-functional shape of all CHICCO pacifiers, designed to stimulate various oral functions during sucking without nutrients. The "PhysioForma" shape helps to properly position the tongue in the baby's mouth – pushing it forward and upward when the mouth is closed. This tongue position supports the physiological opening of the upper airways, thus maintaining physiological (nose) breathing. Physiological breathing is crucial for the proper development of the baby. The tongue position in the mouth is also very important for palate formation and creating space for the baby's first teeth. The "Chicco PhysioForma®" pacifiers support all essential oral functions needed for healthy development: breathing, sucking, swallowing, chewing, and speaking. THE PHYSIOFORMA SHAPE IS: a thin and flexible base of the pacifier, allowing the mouth to close comfortably; an upward-facing head, leaving space for the natural tongue position; a curved head, evenly distributing tongue pressure on the palate; an indentation on the bottom of the head and fine grooves, mimicking the natural shape of the palate and helping to position the tongue correctly. The "PhysioForma" shape is the result of collaboration between the "Osservatorio Chicco" research center, experienced pediatricians, and the Italian Society of Orthodontics.
