It offers L3 routing, ultra-fast wired 100 Gb/s connectivity, stacking capabilities, and redundant power modules. The device features 48x SFP+ 10 Gb/s ports, 4× QSFP28 100 Gb/s ports, physical stacking support, and centralized management. Fast connection and efficient stacking
48× SFP+ 10 Gb/s ports and 4× QSFP28 100 Gb/s ports provide up to 1760 Gb/s switching capacity per device. Physical stacking up to 12 units enhances network performance and redundancy.

Rich Layer 3 capabilities
The device offers a wide range of L3 routing protocols supporting scalable networks, such as OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, VRF, VRRP, PIM-SM/PIM-DM/PIM-SSM, ECMP, and PBR. In complex, large network environments, dynamic routing protocols automatically adapt to topology changes and select the best transmission path based on current network conditions, ensuring stability.

Comprehensive security features
Protection against a wide range of network threats is ensured by Secure Boot, RADSEC, IMPB, Dynamic ARP Inspection, SFTP, 802.1X, and Secure Shell features. Secure Boot protects the operating system from malicious attacks.

High availability
Two redundant hot-swappable power supplies and VRRP support make the device an ideal choice for reliable network architecture. ERPS ensures fast protection and recovery in ring topologies, while BFD allows failure detection in less than one second, enabling fast protocol switching. M-LAG enhances connection reliability from the board level to the device level.

Easy to use and maintain
The switch can be configured and managed based on the NETCONF protocol, reducing manual configuration errors and increasing software update efficiency. The configuration rollback feature allows restoration of previous settings in case of errors. PTPv2 and 802.1AS ensure time synchronization with microsecond accuracy thanks to hardware timestamping.

Integration with Omada Pro
Integration with the Omada Pro system allows centralized cloud management and access to a multitude of management features such as Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and intelligent anomaly detection. The Omada Pro software-defined networking (SDN) platform integrates networking devices, including access points, switches, and routers, ensuring 100% centralized management in the cloud. Omada Pro enables the creation of highly scalable networks – fully managed from a single interface.

Besides centralized management via web browser or Omada app, the S7500-48XF4C can be managed through an intuitive web GUI interface or industry-standard CLI interface, both secured with SSL or SSH encryption. SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) and RMON support allow monitoring of device status and reporting of abnormal events.
