Darwin. A Story about Our Great Family. Read It Myself. Level 3
The theory of evolution created by Charles Darwin had a huge impact on the natural sciences. It significantly changed the way people think about plants, animals, and themselves. How did this well-known naturalist come to his research? What did his life and achievements look like? The book "Darwin. A Story about Our Great Family. Read It Myself. Level 3" introduces the figure of Charles Darwin to the reader. We get to know him together with Hania - a clever seven-year-old whose dad is currently writing a children's book dedicated to the British naturalist...
The author of the story is Mikołaj Golachowski, and the text has been supplemented with black-and-white illustrations by Dorota Wojciechowska-Danek.
At level 3 of the "Read It Myself" series, you will also find among others: "Lola and the Birds", "The Road to Nobel. About Maria Skłodowska-Curie", "Swan Lake", "The Nutcracker", and "Who Saved One Life... The Story of Irena Sendler".

I Assemble Words, or level 1, is an excellent start to learning to read. The text contains 150-200 words and 23 basic phonemes. Sentences are simple and short. Along the side of each page, there are words in boxes that are used for practicing phonetic reading. The text is placed at the bottom of the page, which makes it easier for the young reader to track the letters and words with their finger.
I Assemble Sentences, or level 2, is the level for learning to read syllables. The text contains 800-900 words, 23 basic phonemes, and "h". The sentences in the text are longer, with more dialogues. Along the side of each page, there are words in boxes that help in practicing syllabification.
I Swallow Pages, or level 3, contains stories with 2500-2800 words. At this level, all phonemes are already used. The sentences are more complex, and at the end of the book, there is an alphabetical dictionary of more difficult words. The pictures are black-and-white, and there is a clear quantitative predominance of text over illustrations, giving the child a sense of engaging with a real book.
