All about the product
XTREME MIG-350 inverter welding machine 350A MIG MAG MMA TIG LIFT FLUX IGBT 230V
TREME MIG-350 is a modern inverter welding machine that allows operation with various welding methods: MIG, MAG, MIG FLUX, MMA, and TIG LIFT.
The device uses IGBT technology, has an electronic control panel, and features that support electrode welding: HOT START, ANTI STICK, and ARC FORCE.
The current adjustment range is 20–350 A, and the device is designed to be powered from a 230 V / 50 Hz AC network.
4 IN 1 – ONE DEVICE, MANY POSSIBILITIES
On the package, the welding machine is labeled as a 4-in-1 device: MMA / MIG / MAG / TIG. The manual and control panel also include MIG FLUX mode.
This allows adapting the welding method to the type of work performed without using several separate devices.
MIG / MAG – FAST AND CONVENIENT WELDING WITH WIRE
For the MIG/MAG method, welding wire is automatically fed from a spool.
This is a convenient solution, especially for longer and repetitive welding tasks, as the wire is fed continuously.
On the device's panel, you can select modes such as:
- MIG CO2
- MIG MIX
The manual also shows how to install the spool, guide the wire, and adjust the pressure of the feeding rollers.
MIG FLUX – WELDING WITH FLUX
The MIG FLUX mode allows using suitable FLUX welding wire.
This is a practical option that enhances the device's capabilities and allows adapting the working method to the welding material used.
A special flux mode can be selected directly from the welding machine's control panel.
MMA – universal welding with coated electrodes
The MMA method uses classic coated electrodes and is ideal for various workshop, repair, and assembly tasks.
The welding machine supports electrodes with a diameter of:
1.6–4.0 mm
TIG LIFT – BETTER WELDING CONTROL
The TIG LIFT mode allows welding using a suitable TIG torch and gas protection.
According to the instructions, this method uses argon, and the electric arc ignites when touching the electrode to the workpiece and pulling it away.
This solution is intended for tasks where arc control and precise welding execution are particularly important.
HOT START – EASIER ARC IGNITION
The HOT START function activates when the electric arc is ignited.
The device temporarily increases the current above the set value, making it easier to start welding and reducing the risk of electrode sticking at startup.
This is especially beneficial when working with the MMA method.
ANTI STICK – LESS PROBLEMS WITH ELECTRODE STICKING
The ANTI STICK function activates when the electrode sticks to the material being welded.
The welding machine automatically reduces the welding current, making it easier to detach the electrode from the workpiece.
This function enhances work comfort and helps protect the device from unwanted short circuit effects.
ARC FORCE – STABLE ARC
The ARC FORCE function reacts when the welding arc becomes too short.
Then the device increases the current, which helps:
- reduce electrode sticking,
- maintain a more stable arc force,
- facilitate the transfer of molten metal into the welding pool.
MODERN IGBT TECHNOLOGY
The XTREME MIG-350 uses electronic systems made with IGBT technology.
The manual states that these systems operate at approximately 200 kHz frequency, and the energy is later converted by the welding machine's inverter system.
This technology allows for the combination of electronic control of welding parameters with a compact design of the device.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The device is equipped with thermal protection and a cooling fan.
If the welding machine's temperature becomes too high, the protection will stop welding and activate the overheating alarm.
Once the temperature drops, the device will be able to operate again.
DUTY CYCLE 60%
The duty cycle is defined for a 10 minute period.
A 60% value means approximately 6 minutes of operation, after which about 4 minutes of cooling is needed.
