"Innovation" – a civilization-building card game full of endless possibilities. "Innovation" is a dynamic and surprise-filled tableau-style card game created by Carl Chudyk, inviting you to travel from prehistory to the present... or perhaps even into the near future! Here, you create civilization solely with cards – there are no maps, dice, or figures. Each of the 105 (or 115 in the fourth edition) innovations is a separate card with a unique effect, categorized into ten (or eleven) eras. Each innovation has a thematically relevant impact – it can help your society grow or become a tool for attacking opponents. Your innovations not only provide you with advantages but can also be shared with other players if they have enough visible icons on their game board. Therefore, it is essential to strategically arrange your tableau so that you can share and protect against opponents' claims. How to win? In the game, you aim to achieve achievements – you gain them by accumulating enough points or fulfilling certain innovation conditions. Each game is different from the previous ones – there is no single correct path to victory. Innovation Ultimate is the complete collection edition, which includes not only the base game but also all five of its expansions, including a brand new one – The Unseen. This version has been significantly updated: 11th era included, reflecting the recent past and potential future. Many rules and terms have been simplified. Expansions have been extensively redesigned to be more accessible and easily integrated into the game.
