SUNSUN HW-703B 9W UV external filter is a high-quality solution for freshwater and marine aquariums with a capacity of up to 600 liters. The device combines a high performance of 1,400 l/h with a four-stage filtration system and an integrated 9 W UVC lamp, which helps reduce the growth of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms. The spacious filter media basket, performance control, 360° rotating connections, and ceramic rotor shaft ensure effective filtration, ease of use, and reliable daily operation. Due to its compact dimensions of 270 x 270 x 440 mm, the filter can be easily placed under or next to the aquarium, saving valuable space.

Four-stage filtration system for clean and healthy water

The HW-703B model features a spacious filter basket that can accommodate various filter media. The set includes filter sponges, filter wool, ceramic rings, and bio balls, ensuring effective mechanical and biological filtration. The filter retains suspended particles and larger debris, creating optimal conditions for the growth of bacteria that maintain the aquarium's biological balance. Additionally, chemical filter media such as activated carbon can be used.

Integrated 9 W UVC lamp

The greatest advantage of the filter is the integrated UVC sterilizer, which passes water through a special reactor and treats it with ultraviolet rays. This reduces the quantity of algae, bacteria, and other unwanted microorganisms. Contaminants eliminated by the lamp are later removed during mechanical filtration, resulting in clearer water and better living conditions for aquarium inhabitants. The lamp's lifespan ranges from 7,000 to 10,000 working hours.

User-friendly operation and easy maintenance

The filter features a manual pump that facilitates initial start-up and air release from the system. A multifunctional valve with a quick-connect fitting allows hoses to be disconnected without draining water from the filter, and also enables performance adjustment. 360° rotating hose connections make it easy to position the device where desired. Practical filter baskets with handles allow for quick removal and cleaning of media.

Despite its high performance, the SUNSUN HW-703B filter operates quite silently, and its rubber feet effectively dampen vibrations. The ceramic rotor shaft ensures smooth pump operation and the longevity of the entire system. The housing, made from ABS and PVC materials, provides resistance to everyday use, while the IPX4 water resistance rating enhances safety. The maximum lift height is 2 meters, making the filter suitable for many aquarium systems.
