All about the product
Inspired by advancements in running shoe foam technologies, Formula 1 tire innovations, and our own research on rolling efficiency, impedance, and damping, we understood that new material technologies could significantly enhance the properties of the grip tape.
By using a laminate of SILCAthane, SILCAlon, and 3M viscoelastic adhesives instead of a single foam extrusion layer, the tape can be optimized for various desired traits.
The resulting tape offers a softer, more comfortable feel, better grip in both dry and wet conditions, more effective vibration isolation, and 3-5 times greater durability compared to existing tape materials.
Since the wrapping of the tape itself can be no less important than the tape itself, we also developed a fully adhesive butterfly-type patch that allows for better coverage of the rear part of the brake lever clamp without adding extra thickness, a high-grip finishing tape, and expanding aluminum/composite bar end plugs to ensure each detail is perfected.
