What is a plant-based sponge made from?

This sponge is made from the roots of the konjac plant, which grows wild in Asia. It has been used in Japanese medicine for centuries due to its health benefits and nutritional properties. The plant contains a unique type of fiber – glucomannan – which can absorb 100 times more water than grain fibers. The plant sponge is 100% natural, with no additives.

What type of skin is a natural konjac sponge suitable for?

This natural sponge is the gentlest way to clean all skin types, including sensitive and allergy-prone skin. Pure konjac is rich in vitamins and minerals necessary for the proper functioning of the skin.

What makes the konjac sponge special?

When to change your konjac sponge?

It is advisable to change the sponge approximately every three months. Since it is made from natural materials, its structure changes with use and can start to separate or crumble. These signs indicate that it is time to replace it.

Usage: Soak the konjac sponge and gently squeeze it. Gently massage the face in circular motions. You can also use it on sensitive skin around the eyes. After use, rinse the sponge, press out excess water (do not wring!) and allow it to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.

Always use the sponge when it is wet (never dry).

For disinfection, soak the konjac in boiling water for 2 minutes every few weeks.
